Default rack results after fitting 4480's

i finaly got out to willowbank for a run last night,after fitting the pacey 4480 and a 3 inch cat (thanks stav).i havn't had a chance to get the car retuned yet but its running ok so i decided to go for a run.
i had 4 runs and the results are

60ty......ET........MPH
2.166....14.972...93.69
2.462....15.729...92.5
2.118.....14873...94.90
1.978.....14.689..93.95

the temp was 19c and the track temp was 29c not bad conditions at all for this time of year up here.
well i can say i'm pleased with the results ,its good to see the mph is back up there.it will be good to see what it'l do with a retune and some cool winter weather.
i must say the pacies have given me more top end.even with the cam advanced 5 degrees it still pulls hard to redline .i think this gnd cam maybe a bit to big for the stock rpm limmit.with the headers and cat it feels a bit doughy to about 3000rpm and then takes off where as with the old lukey's it pulled from 2400rpm.not that i'm complaining though you have to feel the rush when the bbm opens up and the rearends struggling for traction.

Very good...that mph is right back up there. And a 1.9 60 foot!!

Hey Jake..I told you the cat rocks.From memory the jmm race series extractors are similar to the lukey ones.94.9 MPH is good for a 14.5 1/4 mile.!!
I noticed you were running 91 mph in the middle of winter in June so definately an improvement!! If the car is running so good I dont know if a tune will help?It is your call.

thanks guys,
xr8ute,i'm stoked with the 60ty .i reckon its got some more left in it in that department.i thought the old nangkangs were good tyres at the drags but thats a PB in the 60ty for me and i was runnin the maxis tyres at 20 psi.
stav mate , the car is crackin i dunno if i want to get it retuned .but like all of us the bug has bitten and i won't know till i get a retune.

Those big mutha 41mm primaries do look very attractive and casper too found restriction with the smaller primary extrractors.I dont know if the tuners can get more out of it.I know croydon racing developements down here could but they're too far for you to get to.
Generally the slightly bigger primaries should move the power band up and give some more rwkws.On a modified car these should really help the mumbo down th 1/4..not so much in a standard car but.
