Get some rest if you can, stop worrying about stuff that’s small in the greater scheme of things.

you think you said some dumb sheet, I was chatting to my bros girlfriend at a family gathering one time and I was talking about this fella from work and how he was looking for some kind work related outcome, anyways, I used the phrase, "he doesn't have a leg to stand on" and I forgot that she lost her leg due to cancer as child.
everyone's jaw dropped and my missus gave me that look... man I felt low. you wanna delete posts, I wanna delete some memories. we don't hear much about amputees hey, quite a resilient bunch, never whinging or carrying on! yeah mate don't stress! |

Also it is interesting. I like some commodores but probably not enough to join a forum. What made you join a ford community? I cringe at some of my Facebook posts from 2008 for sure

Nah mate...
It’s all trivial stuff . Move on and keep posting your stuff and doing your thing. FWIW, come back to the CTEK thread and have a laugh with us.

While out with a bunch of relatively high level quadriplegic people for a social event, I was sorting out someone's dinner, trying to pick all the bones out of the fish she'd ordered, and which I'd have to feed to her. I wasn't really thinking when I said "If she doesn't eat this after I've spent 15 minutes picking the bones out, I'll break her neck!" One of the other quads replied: "Too late!" (and we all had a laugh) Couple of years back I was on holiday in Ireland, having a pint at a pub with some of our tour group. An older woman said she was a bus driver back in Canada. (I too am a bus driver), and thought that was pretty cool, and put my hand out, as I said, "Lady bus driver high-five!!" There was a really awkward pause and she then bumped the stump of what used to be her hand, against my palm. Oooooooohhhhhhh boy.... I felt like I had to completely ignore it, and continue with the conversation, while plenty of others stared in horror at what I'd just said. I wanted to be anywhere but in that pub at that time. Luckily, she also has a sense of humour. A day or so later, she told me about the horrendous car accident that took her left hand, most of her remaining fingers, all of her toes, and almost her life. She's still a friend today. And she has a tattoo across the tops of her feet that says: "Gone to market, love piggy xx" which is kinda awesome! We've all said stupid stuff OP, don't worry about it. Step away from the computer, go outside, and come back later. It'll be forgotten soon enough.

Had to have a read what this was about. OK. Dude, you are most probably right, but I've found that in life, nobody really gives a **** what's the best way to go about things, they just do what they want, and whilst it can get frustrating, you gotta suck it up buttercup.
My 70yo dad just had his phone die (Samsung) and knowing what he uses it for (nearly nothing) I told him I would buy a new old stock Huawei or Moto G for $150 from ebay which would be plenty surplus for his needs. Well the very next day he let me know not to worry about it, coz he went down to telstra & got a good deal on a $600 samsung because Samsung are good phones & reviews said the battery is very good. I told him nice work mate, and moved on haha |

I'll stick around for now.
I was glutenized http://www.fordforums.com.au/showpos...postcount=1131 (its pure poison to me) a few days ago and that always messes with my mood like you wouldn't believe (makes me go hyper). I'm still getting over it a week later and I have silent migrane headaches whenever I get glutenized. made an appointment to see my doctor to see if I cannot get some migrane medication. I've only got brufen which I have to take on a full stomach and I can't take paracetamol as it makes it worse. Prior to today I thought the symptoms correlated to something else but today I was reading about silent migraines and I have nearly all of the same symptoms. : https://www.webmd.com/migraines-head...lent-migraines Winter also plays havoc with my exercise regime and I haven't exercised much at all lately which plays havoc with my depression. I've read all of the posts made and I'm greatful to everyone who thinks that my posts are high quality and that I shouldn't worry too much about the C-Tek thread. I still feel embarrassed though. I kinda agree with them but for right now I've got to take some time off. Thank you all. Last edited by gooseneck; 07-09-2020 at 12:51 PM. |

While I don't deny that food intolerances are a thing, blaming behaviour on them is pretty poor form. If a breadstick affects someone to the point where they can't control they behaviour then perhaps interacting on a forum should be avoided, bland diets should be enforced and professional psychological assistance should be sought. I hope he gets the help he needs.
