was wondering if its possible to remove/replace the actual handle from the EF/EL door handle. I am trying to transfer the chrome handle bit from a grey coloured handle surround to a cappa coloured handle surround. However, the handle bits seem to be stuck into the surrounds by some kind of metal rod and cant be removed. Any ideas?

yeh it can be removed. theres 2 white plugs on the back which act as hinges, they have little squeezy bits on them so just pop them out with pointy nose pliers. i think the spring should just pop out too and thats it, the handle is removed!
