Just wondering if there is any value in using additives to clean injectors ?
If so, which product/s does the job ? If not, whats the best test / cleaning process and approx $$'s ? Just a slight hesitation when travelling down the freeway on petrol and even less hesitation when on LPG. EF 1995 6 cyl. Cheers |

Additives don't work. Sonic test is the go. NFI on cost, I think it's around the $100 mark, cheaper if you take them out yourself.
If it's got a hesitation on both petrol and LPG it won't be the injectors. If it's different between the two I'd be looking at the ignition system. |

What ^^ he said on the additives. There is a thread around here somewhere which shows a way to flush them and remove the varnishing that builds up.
