Default My EB..

Sent it off to the wreckers this afternoon. What a dissapointment on my behalf, the only thing I bothered to pull off it was the T5 and clutch which were both like new. The rest will most likely be crushed. I couldn't take any pictures of it leaving on the tow truck as it was too depressing. Here is a picture of it in it's prime, and yes I know it needed clear indicaters, they were actually installed the day the first motor let go, I also had clear side repeaters on it too which I forgot to pull off. :

here's a link to the thread when I bought it.

R.I.P TSL 637 another e-series decomissioned. :

Should have given it to me!!!! I could have put another box and engine in it and paddock bashed it :(

That car was mint, loved the paint on it, sad to see it end this way.

it had been sitting in my garage for nearly a year, 3 failed motors later it was time for it to go, I advertised it in the trading post with no luck. The body was very clean, I just lost any motivation I had for this car a long time ago and my parents wanted it out of the garage. Also I didn't want to go to the trouble of parting it out. The wrecker gave me $50 for it so I was happy, bought a slab of melbournes and a pack of winnie Blues.

ive sent a few cars to the wreckers myself.
as much as they pi**ed me off at the time, it still was a sad day.
all the joy they had given me, and to think where i sent them knowing full well what would happen to them.
seems like a waste but sometimes its for the best.
something better will come along.

Understandable. It's sometimes better just to let something go and start with a clean slate.
Just hope your parents don't do the same with you! lol

that would have been too much effort Dave. Not sure where it went I just rang one of those removal companies and they came and took it away. Yeah the bonnet was good. :(

ƒuck! that was too tidy to let go for nothing. I sold a pretty tired EA that was nowhere near as tidy as that EB for $300 a few weeks ago.

Too much effort? Well fully stripping would be a fair amount of effort, but things like the bonnet, wheels, etc would be easy to remove and make a small amont of coin from.

I'm sorry to hear about the EB mate :(
