Default Holden Airship to be Banned

Good Old Steve , There was a Reason the guy got Elected !

VICTORIAN Premier Steve Bracks will ban so-called ambush marketing, including blimps that fly in over major events
The first casualty of the ban is likely to be the ubiquitous Holden airship which had been expected to hover over the Boxing Day Test match in Melbourne.

Mr Bracks said the legislation would not go before parliament until next year, but Holden would be asked to fall in line with the intention of the law.

"The spirit of bringing that in (is) to prevent ambush marketing, that is those people who aren't sponsoring large events but want to get the benefit of that without the contribution made," Mr Bracks said today.

Fair Enough too , I dont want to be at the MCG watchin the Cricket and see a Giant red Holden Tampax Fly Overhead , Mass Marketing Gone Wrong !

Daniel
