damn you all!! nah i dont mind the ABS anyway! i'm thinking of running a pipe into the wheel arch but it'll have to be higher up and run down the inside of the wheel arch.
whats the legal side of cutting this area? engerneering, insurance, coppers etc.

I thought you'd give up the turbo. You get about the same power from a pod, you just don't get the dose.

Hi, I've found with my XH XR6 that the airbox with K&N filters went alot better so I've stuck with that, plus with the box you get the air coming in from the front of the bonnet, nice and cold.

Braden i had the same basic setup as you except i had an aluminium heat shield made to support the pod and keep out the hot air, and i left the top of the box and binned the bottom half.Seemed to work well for a cheap setup and sounded good. Obviously it didnt keep out all the heat but it worked well

well all's i have to do now is get a fibreglass kit and fix up the holes around the intake pipe where i hacked into it! this will make it all smooth and neat! then i plan to get some more cold air into it via the wheel arch but that wont happen just yet.
