It is true that you cant get your face or hands (that may be a State specific one) tattooed. But I dont believe its coz of the Queen thing.

My understanding is its for identification purposes.

i think if you were to get a face tatoo you would just need to update your ID cards/passports, so it's current.
Is anyone game enough to put it to the test?

but wouldn't that also mean you would have to update your id cards/passports every time you grew a beard or cut your hair. thats crazy. but then again i dont see many people with face tattoos getting around. plenty with hand tattoos though.

Ummmm.........no. Which beard or hair cut is as permanent as a tattoo?

The hand thing i'm pretty sure is only in QLD. Actually the more I think of it the more I recall it being any tattoo on the palms of the hand.

Now heres a query - I've heard its due to ID purposes right - so finger prints im assuming. So does that mean tattoos flatten or change fingerprints?!

if your chuck norris, a beard is a permanent fixture (helps hide the secret hidden fist). seriously though, i guess the scarring you would cop from getting a tattoo wouldnt be enough to modify the layout of your fingerprint. if you look at skin after its healed from getting a tatt it looks like normal, just with ink under it.

Fingertips/prints, fair enough but every second bogan that comes into my work has spiders or something tattooed on their hand....

They are some sick dudes ! , thats just totaly over doing it ! .

I used to have earings and a nose rings and an eye ring but took them all out years ago , i dunno why , i just did , i got sick of them i guess. It's just a fadd and more problems than they are worth , i was allways getting my nose ring and eye ring caught on stuff !. I got a few tatts too and imo the tatts hurt way more than getting pearcings done.

Freaks.

Can you not also grasp the concept that emo is a style of music which reflects on clothing. emo is not about cutting. some stupid person added that in to make it sound bad. you dont have to be emo to cut. some people decide that emo is the stereotype with cutting so they'll dress like that so they fit in more.

it's not. it's a genre of music like punk, grunge, metal. can people not grasp that? they probabaly think your a freak for being who YOU are. you should give a rest and grow up properly.

sorry but people who say that **** me off loads. and no im not emo i just dont like people saying that because i have mates who dress emo but they absolutely despise people who cut and call it emo.

and back on topic. i like piercings and have my ears done 3 times [woo that's hardcore :P]] but hopefully ill get my nose and a couple others. and some tattoo's to. :nutsycuck

doesn't mean mum will let me get them. =[

I hate the word "emo".

It has gone from a style of music to everyday vernacular.

If people use the term "emo" to describe a thing or person, I get quite annoyed.

An ex girlfriend of mine had her tongue pierced - great for polishing!! She worked in a law firm and they told her to remove it or they would sack her! She removed it and I found a new girlfriend......

blueline.

yes i know. but y'know, "emos" dont go around calling him bogans or what not. why do they deserve to be called something they aren't. im sure he wouldnt like it being called a name. and that's his pet peeve, but if they do call him something isnt he just as low as them if he calls them emo freaks back? people who cant go a day without calling someone something they need a serious slap to the face.

Ears are easy and the wuss way out........ nose is a stud, not ring (i honestly don't mean to offend but my first thought of nose rings is of a cow)

Worse spots? well... apart from the fact it doesn't blow my hair back, I would never get a tongue one - seen too many go bad..... and I'm probably too chicken.......

I think you're thinking of a septum piercing, with the nose ring thing.
