Exclamation car wont lock.

Hello everyone,

Ive had my car for 2 days now, and today the car refuses to lock when i turn the key to close it (i dont have a remote). I tried sitting in the car and locking it using the buttons same thing ( buttons comes down and comes back up), it didnt do this when i bought it. The only thing i have done to the car is change 3 tyres and the power steering switch and oil????? any ideas. cheers
