Default Vss Cruise #18 Reflections

I know this wasn't an e-series cruise but there was a heap of our cars out there last night so i thought i would start a reflection thread....

Vss mods/admins counted 340 cars last night which is great, they are really growing each month!

Maps were good traveling all the way up to Thomastown on a varity of different roads which made the drive not boring.

There was 12 e-series cars at the Baysie pre meet and prob another 10 or so that met us at Mitcham, so at a guess maybe 20ish e-series cars which was awesome!

Cranneer, agreed it is a great night. The esreies turnout wasn't as bad as I though, I got theire on time and couldn't see any (I went in a BA). A few people got their details handed to the police for being fools which I totally support.
It weas good to see other AFF members there to, some from xseries.

Gohan, not all cars have rims or bodykit. All you need is a neat car and positive driving attitude.

We filled home hq and half of the Harvey Norman car park too. So at a guess Hq would hold maybe 150-200 cars if everyone parks normally not taking up 2-3 spots.....

Good cruise, awesome turnout. Havent seen one this big for a while.

Buttt should change the meet points to somewhere different! Watsonia station is getting a bit old school, and the drive there sucked!

Good to catch up with everyone and have a bit of fun.

Fantastic cruise!

Couldn't believe the turnout at Home HQ.

Some really quality cars there last night too. STOWLN and BOSSVK to name a few.

Krys told me about the old school Falcs that rocked up tot the first meet point, spewing I missed them.

As usual, can't wait for the next one.

Really enjoyed the cruise, geat to see so much variety of modded cars! I think a few people may have had trouble with the law, I wonder what happened to the VN that went sideways out of the last meet point and then an unmarked cop car flew after it? I would expect that they would've impounded it, but there was noone stopped all the way down the road as we left so maybe he got off with a fine (or got away)! Looking forward to the next time, hope they change the cruise route, im sick of gettin lost in the northern suburbs, I have no idea around that area!

Was a great cruise. Good to see the Ford supporters out in force once again.

Behaviour was fairly good, and the rapport with VicPol just gets better and better!

They are watched by the police just so everyone knows that they are around and watching. If you dont play up you will be fine, drawing attention to yourself by doing a burnout will result in a nice little sticker appearing on your front window.

People that choose to rip skids or hoon about get there plates handed over to the police, and then its upto the police to deal with the offender.

Vss cruises have a zero tollarence to any hooning, which includes burnouts and dragging ect......

One car was silly enough to get sideways out of the car park, not knowing there was an undercover police car in the car park with all of us. The police car went after him down the road not too sure what happened with him tho...

So the moral to the story is, if you behaive you will be fine! :-)

The cruise was absolutely awesome, was incredibly huge. I was stunned that I had to tell everybody coming in that there were no parks left im HOME HQ!!

The behaviour overall was excellent, only a few cars were caught misbehaving - and out of 340 that's fairly good average! We're very luck to have such a great raport with the Police, at one point one was telling us we should all go to another car show on Sunday.

Unfortunately, a few people did misbehave - but their details *were* handed over to the police.

The next Cruise is on Saturday the 26th of May - same place, 7pm. If this cruise is anything to go by (with dodgy weather and all) I can only imagine what next months is gonna be like!
