Hey Guys Im finaly home from My Holidays and im stuffed .. I have had the last 10 days off work and I dont think I have driven more in the last ten days then I have in 2 mths...
Polyal ... I have a burn on my arm .. Bigger then a 10cent but smaller then a 20cent .... It hurt lol Grechie .. You done well again .. even with your gearbox problems Snyper ... as I told you .. you just need to rev higher and realy get it spooling. As for me I did crap.. I should have not changed my speedo cog as it was shifting gears at 4.200rpm ... and at that I lost a lot of time. .. all my runs on L.P.G. where 15.1 , 15.3s and just when I got it running on Fuel I got sent back the pits as it was the end of the night.. oh well 14s next time lol It was a good night and there was no complaints at all .. and thats a great thing . As you people have behaved yourselfs I will get another night up and running . I dont know when as we have the AFF at Heathcoat next mth. Ian ... Thanks M8 I would not have known who to talk to or what to tell these guys without your help.. Thanks a lot and I hope we (You & I) can get a few more of these nights running ..In summer time maybe the Last Friday of every Mth ?? Thanks again guys .. Next time tell your M8s , and you other people on here .. Stop reading and come in and race.. as you see there is cars from 14s right through to 17s .. EVERYONE needs to start from somewhere and what a better place then with a few other Forum Members .. if you need Help all you have to do is ask and some one will help you . Well done again guys .. I will C-ya at the next drag day/night . Cheers Swanny

:evilsasmo Ok where do i start firstly i think a note of mention should go to shaun big difference drom the cpi well done shaun obviously as you sort it even better things will come...
The track well although i didn't compete it's been quite some time since i have seen the track so non responsive don't forget gu's the big boy's running 9.0's are on slicks and or similar to Mcreary's specifically designed for drag situations street tyres are not designed to do what we do to them. Anyway on a pleasing note myself and calder management acknowledge the effort everyone went to to give e-series a good handling of itself so each and everyone of you should give yourselves a big pat on the back..... I have had short discussions with CPR and i am telling everyone here in e-series I will be organising more events i hope with the support of the moderators and as many of the e-series guy's and gals i will outline the formats that we will do later on after FFD day.. Once again well done to you all and to those who didn't show any interest but to sit on your butt's at home you missed and will continue to miss a good night having been had by all..............Ian :evilsasmo : |

Hey guys I was at Calder on Friday and saw most of you run. I didnt know you guys were having a drag meet there so it was a pleasant surprise lol. Traction was an issue for alot cars there with street tyres. Last time i went about a month ago i had the same problem, i spun right off the line with a stall speed of only 1500rpm resulting in 2.7 60ft times.
Anyway it was good fun watching you guys, it would be good to organise a bseries and eseries drag day one day. Cheers |

Might be up for one after the manual conversion (Dont think i'll beat my 15.080 PB, as my engine is still stock, and no mods have been done since). But you never know.
Sounds like you guys had fun, well done Ian and Trick_xD for a great event! Will be at the next one! Cheers, Ben |

did anyone see me race lol....I seen a few e-series but not a great deal but I got their real late and only got 2 runs.. was my first time.... turbo eb @ 5psi.... car wasnt running to well.... had a wastegate leak at idle so think that was the suspect and wasnt going anywhere near the red hot turbo.... ran a 14.5 and a 14.9.... got real bad 60' with a 2.642 and 2.942.... went down to sorta test the car out on low boost and just get a bit of practice for dragging and every man and his dog was their..... even EVLELF the old owner. was good seeing all the e-series cars tho..... loved it.... that ea turbo is unreal.... sounds tuff.... next time i'll up the boost and hopefully get my launches right... Might end up at heathcote this saturday with sum better results....
