Default BA remote for AU

ok i searched and found nothing of relevance

anyways im curious because a mate has about 3 BA remotes, all mine are stuffed...and he said i can have them if i can get them to work.

i can understand that the AU system would be comepletely different from the BA one, but is it just a matter of copying the code on the AU remote and flashing the BA one?

is it that it cant be done and its been tried or just not worth the hassles?
i only ask is that the BA remote seems a little mroe sturdier and better looking and smaller than the AU one.......

if not then ill just keep using my key....

also anyway of changing the unlock thing without a remote, ie unlock all 4 doors at once?

To change the unlock mode hold down both the lock / unlock buttond for a few seconds till the locks cycle. you need to do this for each remote this is the only way it can be done but you can borrow a remote and train it to your car to do the job

Been there tried that, didn't work.
I actually bought a BA one off e-bay to try and was never successful.

Open up the keypads, you may find that the battery carrier has come away from the circuit board. They can easily be resoldered. BA keypads do suffer the same fault, I have repaired many.
