Default Can you reset the default trip meter screen display and air flow settings?

Howdy,

Just got a new Focus Zetec over the weekend. Very happy with everything except the seats which I think are very ordinary.

Just a couple of questions:

Whenever my car starts up, the display reverts back to the odometer/trip meter/temperature screen. Can you change this to start at the range or fuel economy screen ?

Similarly, can I get the car to default back to recycling internal air rather than external air flow? I get stuck in traffic every morning and don't realise its back on external air until my cabin is full of deisel fumes from the truck in front.

Can these be changed or will I just have to get used to them?

Cheers

Not sure about the trip meter but the internal air will always default back to external once car is switched off. Annoying.

Hmm no mine always defaults to the odo setting you have... I think it stays that way... Don't worry about it, be pleased you don't drive a Vectra..
