Hi All,
My AU1 6 cyl auto sedan is almost stalling when you stop hard/quickly. It happens in forward and reverse gears. If you stop slowly it's ok. If you keep your foot on the accelerator (keeping the revs up) and left foot brake, it's ok. I have searched the forum but I didn't find anyone having exactly the same problem. I have cleaned out the ISC with carby cleaner and gone through the computer idle relearning process as well - still the same. : Please help me. |

Hi bodes-sh,
Stop fast... sometimes you just have to. Idle is 650 in park and 550-600 in drive. Trans fluid, filter and seal were replaced today - but before that it hadn't been replaced for around 40,000klms... Thanks. |

Sounds similar to my base idle problem, was doing similar things nearly stalling under brake and too low in the revs dept from memory I think revs should sit about 800 (not sure on that one though )
Mine was caused from battery issues. Not sure if its the same thing but something to consider anyways. Cheers |

The AU is fixed!
It didn't take much. I bought a bottle of Injector cleaner (Castrol) that you poor into the tank. Less than 20klms later it was running as good as it can :togo: Thanks for your replies. |
