Default Wreck Tow Away.

Hi

My EB has been sitting out the front for long enough and I'm looking to get it towed away today.

Just wondering if anyone knows someone that will pick it up and mabey even give some dollar my way for the steel, as I've heard of some people getting 50-150 bucks for there shells.

Cheers.

if you take it to a metal scrapper they'll pay per 100kg, if you get it taken away by a towie, they'll take it for nothing.

Some steel companys will come to your house and pay you for it then crush it. That would be the way to go.

I've been told about steel places paying cash for wrecks but they want it to be steel and thats it any rubber, plastic, ect on it and wont touch it.

I really cbf cleaning it up for them so I've booked it in today to get towed, no cash but it clears the space in my driveway the thing has been taking up for the last 2 months:P.

I'l post pics when it leave's Yay!!!...

Ive taken many shells to Highett Metal and had no issue with things like plastic in them. One went there with nearly a complete dash and console. They just weigh it and pay you and the fork gets it off the trailer for you. But you need to take it there on a truck or trailer.

Nothing because they had to drag it on to the flat bed.

Next time around I'l try and do a bit more research in to getting the best deal but in this case I just needed it gone, the parts I pulled from it will fatten the wallet up a bit.

Well its gone and about time.

It's a sad sight seeing the EB like that. That new paint was looking great.
