i see he's lowered his price a little this time, you'd still be better off paying for a genuine el gt at that price, or XRT...

Granted a heap of work has gone into it, but who is going to pay 30k for any EA pretty much no matter what's been done to it.

why is this guy selling it???? it baffles the mind. spends 3 years building, lots of time and money, speaks of it so highly, then puts it up for sale. Why do people spend so much time and money modifying, then sell it within a year or 2. Maybe the car isnt as expected in finished product, To me, i think, Would a car like this be as safe to drive as a factory built car? has it been through millions of kilometers of testing, and safety crash testing? ford spends millions engineering cars, and this guy probably drew this up in his bedroom. This car aint worth anything. maybe worth $5000 at most for a diehard ford maniac daydreams about fords 24hours a day and has to own every single modded ford in existence, you can get a newer genuine ford ute with time proven durabilty for less then his price and newer running gear. "THE ONLY EA GT UTE IN THE WORLD" he says.. B.S., ford never built a ea ute let alone a ea gt ute. anyone can cut bits of different ford cars and stick them together and rename it EA GT UTE, and at far less then $30000. what a joke. LOL at the guy who would pay $15k for it.
If the guy was really proud of the work he put into it, youd think hed keep it. Id never buy a car that someone pieced together from many different cars and car parts, no matter how good it looks.

kpcart i really dont understand why you are even on these forums.

you seem to hate any form of modification done to a car.

i guarantee many people would pay 10 grand for it.

and not all cars like that are some guy piecing together other cars. places like hiller conversions do the exact same sorts of things.

Yes, sorry, i dont know, maybe it is me, im used to driving cars which dont have this buy it and mod it culture like ford eseries seems to. maybe its just this forum but. i just bought a ford ed, and cant see why there is any point to wasting money modding it, its a nice car! if i were to invest money modding it, id rather buy a better car. The ED i bought has extractors and exhasut which i dont mind because increase engine efficiency and economy, but it came with rims, i dont understand why people feel the need to get rid of standard rims... theres nothing wrong with the standards (well i suppose i should say, IMO). to me modding a car always seems to make it illegitimate, and shouldnt be labelled a ford xr6 or whatever if it has been modded outside of factory specs. Ill try to fit in here, i could you the advise for my car if things go wrong, and try to to flame people if i disagree with there views, in the end i guess, people mod their cars to make THEM happy, and not others, so i shouldnt intrude.
