I wont recomend anyone as I havent seen one thats good enough to recommend... Paint job as in Full respray. How long is a peice of string. On a EF you can probally get a cheap (read nasty) job done for 3k all the way up to a bare metal show stopping re-spray in topshelf paint $15k+ You have to decide what standard you want then ask prices.

On my old car (an EF) I Bought the EL Tickford bodykit.
I got the side pieces and door pods for $200 off Ozwreck in dandenong (Was lucky enough to be told by someone on the forums that there was a wrecked EL XR8 there with intact skirts). The front and back skirts came from SSV in sydney for about $400 for both. Painting and fitting cost me $700-$800. I was told that with the SSV skirts, often theyre hard to fit and the fibreglass can pinhole when painted. But all up for me it cast about $1400. -dan |

Muley-EF:
When Steve & I owned the EF, we were trying to work out whether to get an EF kit or the EL kit. After looking at heaps of other cars with kits, we decided on the EL kit. I finally located a place in Bayswater (cant remember the name thow) that quoted me $960 for a fibreglass kit (unpainted). We never actually got it done coz we sold the EF. Now have an EL Fairmont Ghia with the EL kit and love it! |
