talk to dellboy with regards to fitting the 4 speed box...
the chassis rails are different between the 3 speed and 4 speed (different mounting position for the trans mount) |

I'd say make it a 5 speed if your going to all this trouble. if you were only making it multipoint you could just leave the current looms there and just put the multipoint computer in. you do realise if you end up with a smartlock ecu you will need to practically do whe wiring in the whole car? your dash loom wont have a hope in hell of plugging up to the power loom, and you need the power loom from a 4 speed to run the trans. theres a lot more in this that you probably realise man.

For EB2 Wiring to be installed in your car you have to rewire the entire car and you dont need it as you can use EA wiring as ive told you many times. Why waste your time, put a T5 in

if you want an auto, get an EAII ECU loom & ECU so you have the seperate trans controller. dont **** around with smartlock and the integrated ecu.

how is it that changing from 3 speed to 4 speed you need different trans mount point. But changing from 3-5 or 4-5 speed you don't...
I say go the 5 speed too. Just remember that you'll also need manual flywheel, clutch, pedal box, clutch cable, spigot bearing, clutch release thingo + cleavis bushes, bandaids, headache tablets, valium.. err yeah! and patience. Oh and a clutch allignment tool that comes with insturctions and actually fits the Falcon. Good luck with it all. |
