Default Calder Park facilities Upgraded

True to there word for the PRO-Car shoot-out this Saturday Calder fixed many things in the last few weeks.
The entire pit area is now sealed the asphalt has been laid and its a 100% improvement.
The staging lanes have also been re-surfaced properly this time nice smooth asphalt and the return road has had a lot of work too.
Lots of paint has been splashed around the old Dunlop bridge has been moved to behind the credentials office where you enter to go on the track, there will be a proper in and out lane with a small office being built in between.

Anyone going to the Pro-Car shoot-out this weekend last time they had a big field of cars.

They upgrade it and I will come! Might be good reason to get some more "bits" for the XR.

Massive thumbs up from me for the upgrade. They may need to start watching the return road speeds...some cars were already collecting their timeslips by the time I got to the straight

The 27th is the next one, this coming Saturday.

There is also another meeting coming up in February next year some lucky entrant will win a brand new Holden Ute as a prize.

Hooray!! The pit area was 'the pits' before, as was the staging lanes. Good to hear they have been making improvements. So did they fix all the potholes on the goat track?

Not wrong about that! I was going about 50 and people were already collecting their time slips by the time I reached the straight on the return road hahaha.

And yes all pot holes have been filled. They might need to introduce speed humps instead
