Exclamation EBII GLi front door locks

On my 1992 EB i have noticed the cover on the locks isn't there, How do you fit them????

Bascially you cant just fit them, you replace the locks, you get a set with good flaps and swap the centres over to keep the key correct.

actually i think they have to be dis-assembled to swap the flaps, which means popping the top off them and swapping bits then putting back together, well thats what I did, there might be a simpler way.

to actually get the locks out
remove the door trim
remove the door handle (2 x 10mm nuts)
pop the metal reataining plate off the back off the lock
remove door rod from back of lock
lock is now out.
