Default read this one!

hey guys just wont to share my little story that happened the other day. Anyway me and a mate where driving along when a cop pulls us over. He comes to the passengers side, where i was sitting and says what were you doing with your hand out the window, i said i was just getting some air
(mates car = no air cond) so he tells me to get out the car and asks for my licence. i get it out and he tells me its an offence to drive with any part of your body outside of the car. So after he spends 15 mins writing out the fine he says to my mate i could have fined because you were the driver of the vechile but ill let you off with a warning. So now i owe $112 to the government or who ever it goes to.

HA HA HA what a ####### JOKE

What do you think how many people do you see a day with there arm out the window ?

Cheers Darren

Funny you should mention this. I have a mate who now only has one arm. He was also in the habit of driving with one arm dangling out the window!

Having said that, you probably caught Mr Plod having a slow day

Had a mate fined for the same thing, waved out the window, cop fined him.

I actually see quite alot of people driving with arms out the window, also seen cops drive past doing it to.

If I had a dollar for everytime I came across a cop car with elbows out window, I'd be rich.

Yeah for some reason is the Girls who like to hang their feet either out the window or place them on the dash as have never seen a guy do it :P

I often think what would happen if they had a head on while in that position.

Driving up north once we parsed a guy in a a Range Rover, cruse control set on 125km/h seat right back with both his feet out the window!!! LMAO

My view is it's you arm if you want it out the window it's your option.

A few years ago there was this largish Maori bloke who always had his arm hanging out of the window, dangling all the way down. It was a VN with a very bad aqua coloured paint job. Spotted it in the carpark one day and there was a brown dirt and sweat stain where his arm always hangs. was nasty.

At the end of the day we all know it's the law, if we choose to break it, that's our choice but we shouldn't really complain when we do break it and do get caught by the boys in blue, they're just doing their job.

I rather see you lose $112 then your arm.

You can always make more money
but not make more arms.

The police are there to protect people from themselves.
Although I am sure you can look after yourself, there are many people who can't and will lose their arm through not seeing something or just being a fool.

Although being fined sucks, the rules are there.

In the case where if you lost your arm it's your fault...yes, but you'd cost a lot to the government to look after. If you were driving and your arm got ripped off, the blinding pain may cause you to crash your car, meaning your injuries would potentially be worse, and possibly injure others. It's about money...it's always about money.

as far as i know in sa, you only cop a fine if you arm is more than 300mm out the window. This rule is here for your own protection.

Reach out the window to get your bag of Maccas, COP A FINE.
Reach out the window to adjust your rearview mirror. COP A FINE.
Reach out the window to adjust the hookers cleavage. COP A FINE.

Its there for your own safety. Incase a comet hits, or a tsunami, or jesus comes back angry with a chainsaw. you know. logical stuff. Its the same reason I wear a Nappy, the gummint says i cant be trusted with toilet paper and feeding myself.
