Default HELP Car Not Starting -------

Hi All

Changed over a fuel pump in the Ea tonight.
When I reconnected the battery to start the car I heard a clicking sound, and know when I turn the ignition on the high beam light, indicator light come on the dash and there is also clicking in the engine bay. Also the actuall headlights come on! The taco also jumps all over the place.
What could be the problem?
I'm assuming a relay or something has broken.
The engine doesn't turn over at all.
PLEASE HELP

like ebfairmint said check the battery to see if its loose, just give it a good lil shake then tighten up the terminals. also when testing to see if it will kick over just have your driver window down with the key in and just turn it over from there (just easier :nutsycuck )

Yep there can be a whole mess of little cables connecting to the battery. One time I forgot to connect one and the car didn't even think of starting.

Thanks guys for your replys.
You were spot on about the battery connections. The main earth cable wasn't connected properly (once I could see in the light it was really obvious). Might have to get some portable lights! Once cleaned up she sarted first time.
