Default Boss 500 comes alive in St Louis.

Driver Mike Neff took one of John Force's fuel funny cars to the semis at the Gateway Nationals in St. Louis Missouri last weekend..... :
For those who dont understand the significance of this.....
It was not only the first "round" win for the car but also the first semi final appearance for the test car fitted with the new Ford "Boss 500" nitro engine that John Force Racing and the Ford Motor Company have been developing for some time now.
In a sport that has been dominated by the Chrysler Hemi for 40 odd years now, this is like a breath of fresh air

It was a very close race too.

Been an exciting couple of races for the Force team
Ashley winning her first race meeting and becoming the first female to do so.
John winning his 1000 round win and on his birthday
And then Neff having hid first round win the new motor almost winning the final
