Default Little Bastards

I hate the School Holidays. The reason being my neighbors have 2 daughters, who have a 'Party' at the end of school every Term. This year however, they went too far. Whilst I was at the outlaws for an engagement party, my house got egged with about 30 eggs. My boat cover is ruined, my Wife's car has cooked egg over the roof and rear of the car, and my Garage Door will never be the same again.

I contacted the Parents of the Girls, and all they could muster was an apology. That really sucks. I hope those Girls of his are good cleaners, because they have a Double B&D ColourBond Garage door, a Lexus IS200, and a 5.5 Metre boat cover to clean, plus my Driveway, and LetterBox, which also copped full force of the 'offensive'.

My Territory however was in Gosford, in a Garage safe from Eggs. That is one positive.

-Andrew

Get it off the cars ASAP, otherwise it may burn into the paint with the Acid contained in the eggs.

And bloody oath get them over there cleaning it up. Last person who egged my old Falcon ended up paying $14 at Carlovers for the privelige. Also got soaked with the high pressure rinse cos I had some time left over :hihi:.

I say also get it cleaned professionally and send them the bill. That will put some sens into them but also their parents. I just don't understand the mentality of some of the cretins who inhabit our earth, even if I was drunk I wouldn't do stupid crap like that. Sad to think there's many out there who'd do this SOBER just for a laugh...

Sad world we are in now isn't it! Get it cleaned professionally and give the parents the account. Perhaps when it hits their wallet, they may think twice about the girls having another party. I would also report it to the police. It may be to late for them to act on it but you won't know until you do it. Are the parents reasonable adults??

On one hand you'd want them to clean it themselves so that they learnt some respect, but then if they have the lack of respect to egg your house, then they probably wont care to do a very good job cleaning it!

So i reckon get it cleaned and give them the bill, and hope their parents make THEM pay for it instead of paying it themselves!

If they are spoilt little brats then get them to get their hands dirty. If they dont do it properly tell em to clean it until it is. Lets face it the last thing a brat chick wants to do is get their hands dirty.

Heeno, ages are 16, and 14, and yes are spoilt brats. The oldest one has a Brand New Corolla as a learner car, perhaps I should pour some Pool acid over the Paperwork :monkes: .

Anyway, I have had VIP over and the car has been cleaned and I have also had to invest in a new Boat cover. That hit the pocket hard, because the one the 'children' ruined was not even a year old. And to make matters worse, I switched my Tarp for the cover on Friday night before the Trek (and it was) up the coast. I would not have flinched if the tarp was ruined. The Bill has been sent to the neighbors, and I told them that if another 'friend' of their children steps foot on my property again, I will have them arrested for trespassing. They had to trespass to get near the car and boat, because the boat acts as a buffer between my house and theirs.

I am going to have to invest in some garage organizing equipment over the next week, because the Lexus is not sitting in the open with an empty Garage.

Get them to clean it. If you get the parents to pay for it, the girls won't be actually paying for it and will only have to deal with getting in strife. Making them work to clean it off will give them second thoughts. I'm sure these girls must have been a factor in your house becoming the target - even if they didn't do it themselves. If they have to put in the hard yakka to clean it up, maybe they'll taking an active interest next time to see that it doesn't happen again.

I hope their parents got the bill for the new boat cover, that might teach them to keep their little angels & their friends in check.

Its amazing how different kids are... The boys next door are 17 and 16 and they had a party the other night at about 12.30 i decided enough was enough the music was to loud. So i just went across and told them to turn it down. Well the apologise have not stopped coming. The eldest boy walked me back home apologising and the father saw me the next day and apologised. We are lucky that we do have good neighbours and they are good neighbours but what those girls did is horrifying. I do hope you get the parents to pay for everything as thats only fair.

My In-Laws live in Gosford (Forresters Beach to be precise), whilst I live in God's Country (The Sutherland Shire). That makes your efforts futile. I have been promised 12 months of car washing, to make up for 'their Drunk friends', and I have made sure they know the consequences of their actions by stating that if I one of their friends comes near my property, they are trespassing, and therefore can be arrested. I am looking forward to having a clean car with no effort from now on!

Last house we lived in, there are 3 boys next door. 14, 10 and 4. One day i hear a rock hit my door. A few times I've come home and theres small rocks at my front door. I figured as the door was purple, kids just wanted to take pot shots at the ugly door. Who could blame em : Anyway, this oneday i hear rocks hitting the door. Who should I find but the 14 year old showing the 4 year old how to throw rocks, and using my house as his target. Having caught them with rocks in hand, i went over, told the dad that the big one was teaching the little one some nasty habits. Dad appologises, offered to pay for any damage and proceeded to discipline the old one. Said not necessary, but thanks for the offer. 10 minutes later the 14 year old was at the door apologised. Said no problem, thanks for the apology.

Not all neighbours are bad. Just a few rotten eggs. So to speak :

Andrew,

Sounds like a good result, just make sure they use a new sponge every time they wash it, no scratches thanks ladies!
