Gday Guys ,
Having a Bit of Trouble with this Gearbox i Purchased off Ronza , the new Auto has done "90xxxkms" .. Its been Installed and seems to be Playing Up , When it was being installed , the Speedo Wires were crushed without knowing , i Picked the Car up from a Mates house it had no Speedo , and was Slipping really bad ( Not enough Oil , Problem Fixed ) .. After a Generous Top Up of 95LE Fluid , The Car Kept Jumping into Limp Home Mode , and I Realised the Speedo wasnt working , Jumped on the Forums , seen the Article about if the Speedo isnt Working , and the ABS Sensor is Activating , then the Trans goes into LHM .. Now , thats all very well and all , Heres My Conundrum (problem) , A good Mechanically Knowledged Mate , Fixed the Split Wires on the Speedo Line (Red Heat Sheilded Cord from Top of Auto to Wiring Loom , 3 Prong Plug ) , We Connected it , and i took off , Viola ! My Speedo Works again , but he Car Remained in LHM .. We Disconnected the Battery for a good 10 Minutes , and Let the Car Venture through the 15 Minute Startup Sequence , Took it for another Test , LHM again .. So what do you guys Reackon .. Its really got me Pinned .. I find it hard to believe that it could be the box with so Low K's on it , the Oil inside was really clean .. If anyone can Rectify the Problem , Ill Re-Imburse them for their time .. Thoughts Would be Appreciated .. Daniel |

Mate their could be many reasons for it to be in limp home mode, all due to electrical connections, double checking the main wiring plug on the side into auto would be the first thing, 2nd is that the shift postion switch on the side with the inhibitor switch as well do play up.
Do you know how to use a multimeter?

Battery has to be off for 45 min i think at least for the computer to do a full reset. Best bet leave it over night and see what happens.
