If its the Calibre One , Its Made by Castrol ,

If its the SCA one in the Yellow Bottle , Its Made by the Jiang Tang Oil Co-Op , SE China ..

You be the Judge , How confident are you with your Brakes ;D

Brake fluid isn't expensive anyway, don't skimp on brakes at all.

I Know Supercheap Auto , Worked there as a ***. Manager , got sick of their lack of committment to Cars buy ordering so much Crud from China .. all the Calibre Stuff are Seconds from Better Brands , but Just within Tolerances .. IE Warped Rotors ,

Gabriel Shocks - KYB Seconds ..

Its all crap , refuse to shop there , Autobarn or Bursons ... Only way to go ..

Hey BoostedT for arguments sake have you heard of any lawsuits regarding their cheaper brake fliuid ?
and so all the Calibre is crap ? for example their oil I know from source's its Castrol only the No1 selling brand in the country.
Sure theirs some crap in the stores but there's plenty of useful good stuff as well, seen plenty of crap in other stores you mention as well so where's the level playing field ?
Lack of commitment ordering parts from China ? you don't know what your talking about in that case, so many name brands here and private brands come from their as well.
Whats with the gabriel- kyb seconds as well ?
Warped rotors phhht, you know the biggest names have batch issues from time to time, they can't ? sorry mate no seconds I'm sure no company can afford or want to risk the law suits what aload of BS......

and no I don't work for them but am heavily involved in the aftermarket and know many companys what/where their out sourcing stretergys are.
Its laughable on the forums at comments about x brand compared to brand z for whatever reason, some are same product but different box !
All consumers have choices what to buy where to buy and one thing true in the auto parts game is you can't please everybody.
Sounds to me just a bitter ex asst manager.

Whats this law suit stuff , i said nothing about , just reilliterating thw fact you get qhat you pay for.. Get off your high horse ..

No high horse BoostedT just facts mate......
The "law suit" stuff meaning ? had there ever been an issue with any said product they sell go as far as that whilst you were there ? probably not nothing else into that.
Mate as you say you get what you pay for and it seems manymany people are satisfied enough spending up to $500mil p/a around these stores. Claims are a given as long as they represent minimal % of sales.
Anyway high ho silver this is a non event.
