extractors are better than stok manifolds, so if u got them, USE THEM and stop thinking u bought the "" model

I think changing from 4499's to 4480's would not be worth the effort... or money. I don't think you would notice a difference.

I heard 4499's are good to go straight on for an increase in hp all through the range whereas 4480's are competition headers and are better designed to work with other mods eg. a unichip... But there's no reason why you can't have 4499's and mod it too imo :hihi:

I have 4499's, and they are decent. I wouldn't change them i think it would be a waste ;)

I am making 190rwhp with 4499's and the other mods listed in my sig. They seem to be doing the job in my car.

yeah, but how does that compare to 4480's?

Im in the same boat, I have advance extractors that are the same as th 4499's. Ive been told Ill get a good 5rwkw right accross the rev range by upgrading to the 4480's. Once day ill get myself a set and find out.

if buying new, get 4480. If your already have 4499's then IMO its probably not worth the $ changing unless you can offload the 99's for a good price and get a cheap upgrade.

i reckon a manual with stok exhaust will beat an auto with full exhaust, who agrees with me?

4480's have smaller primaries thus giving you more down low. If you desire such thing and have the cash or can sell your current ones, just do it. But as others have mentioned, do some other mods too.
