In the petrol tank
lift boot carpet undo 8 screws holding down metal plate back left get the lock ring off, screwdriver + hammer + patience and effort lift out the fuel pump and replace buying new wont do much, if your injectors are not using the fuel, it just goes around in a circle and back to the tank, so unless you plan bigger injectors and big cam, save the money if you can.

My advice is if your going to swap your fuel pumps over, get a new stock MPFI fuel pump. Ive used 4 second hand ones so far and they all seem to die after a while.

fuel pumps that have been left to dry out over time need to be imersed in petrol for a bit before installing to the tank,,this is to rejuvinate the seals and ,,if you don't it won't last long as you've found out..

The 2nd hand EF pump I am running at the moment came from the wreckers to home and then into my tank it has been fine so far, not a sign of a problem, my old pump was still going and when I pulled it out I reckon it was the orginal one.
