Default Water in Spare well after rain

As the title suggests, had a lot of rain on the Gold Coast in the last 24 Hours, and had to leave the WQ zetec 5 door out in the weather. I have just found pooling water in the spare wheel well. Has anyone had this problem before, and how was it remedied? I reckon it is coming in through the door skin and in thru the latch at the bottom, but all of the drains are clear. Any ideas...the best I've come up with so far is to leave the car in the garage, but Mrs D believes this is a short term solution...she may be right.

Thanks,

Jay D

yup, could be boot seal or if u have a sun roof, the pipes might be blocked. Also even the side rear panels where usually there is a gap.

Just remember to dry it quicky, you dont want rust.. :P
