Been working nights for the last week and only found this today.
Thanks for the comments. Though I do things to the car to suit me or the wife, it's good to get compliments from other people about what has been done.
When I first saw the car it struck me as tough looking, with the scoop, bodykit & wheels. It did certainly looked different, which is what I like.
There is always something to do to make it look or go that bit better.
Since it is a daily driver nothing much is going to be done to the motor, just some GT40P heads and explorer manifold when I get around to putting something else on the AU XR8.
Still have to fit the 3.45 diff (out of an XR6) ,fit the leather door trims, put some metal cats on,fit the Unichip and tune.
Hopefully this will be all done soon (she's on my back to get it going quicker off the mark!!).
Just shows you don't have to be young to still play around with cars and enjoy the results.

nah mate i didn't do the mods on it. all i did was the K'N air filter. it was the guy before me. he was in a car club not sure which one. he lived along the gold coast though. i had this car as a first car. i had just turned 17. 17 straight into a V8. so yeah i was loving it. only lasted till i was 18. had a few things to get it up to sctatch and i didn't have the money at the time.

im spewing now. :
