Default 5.0 220kw with Y33 SVO, and GT40-P... same camshaft?

Does anyone know if all the 220kw V8 motors in the AU's have the same camshaft? The camshaft in the early SVO alloy head 220kw is the following:

Camshaft = FIZE 6250 AIA.

Intake opens = 20d BTDC.
Intake closes = 76d ABDC.
Exhaust opens = 67d BBDC.
Exhaust closes = 19d ATDC.

Valve lift:
* 7.055mm Inlet.
* 7.061mm Exhaust.

Valve size:
* 49.2mm Inlet.
* 39.1mm Exhaust.

Do the later GT40-P iron head 220kw motors have the same camshaft and valve size as above?

Have you tried ringing Tickford/FPV. They may know. Or just PM Russ - he knows everything.

Does anyone know if there are any gains to be had by fitting this cam to the 185 kw AU1 or the AU2 200kw motor. Or is it just better to get the 2030/2031 cams?

going on the list i have here, it states

220kw @ 5250rpm
435nm @ 4000rpm

valve timing =

Inlet opens 14deg BTDC
Inlet closes 74deg ABDC
Exhaust opens 72deg BBDC
exhaust closes 22deg ATDC

Valve Lift
Inlet 11.9mm
Exhaust 12.0mm

Valve Diameters
Inlet 49.3mm
Exhaust 39.4mm

Going on this spec sheet it only lists that the heads changed from the SVO Y303 to the GT 40P (yella terra rework) in april 2001. It doesnt mention anything about the cam being changed. But looking at the difference in specs from what you have to what i have it must have been. Strange???

hope this helps a little

Cheers
Tim

I have a copy of the Tickford V8 Engines comparative engine chart.

I dont know how true it is, a few things on it we have found different, especially when it came to the 250kw motor.
I know this will make me sound like an **** but i cant post it up here for people to view till i get permision from the people i got it from.

Sorry :(
Tim

No problem.. understand exactly what you're saying. I'm kinda in the same position with some of the info I got on the T-series as to who and where. or else.. .. ...

What sort of differnet things have you found on the 250kw motor? If you can say that is.
