Default New Fiesta problem - Volume control stops working.

The GF had a problem with the Fiesta when we took it for a drive to Kiama, the volume control stopped after being parked with the ignition on for a little while; both the knob and the steering wheel buttons.

The stereo must be made by Microsoft, because you stop and turn off the car and take the key out, leave it for a little while and come back 10 or so mins later and it works again. Turning off the car momentarily does nothing to fix it.

There is truth in that as the head unit has MS SYNC (Fords version).

Never had the problem you mention - dealer visit I'd suggest.
