Question tinted headlight covers.

Anyone know if i can get a set of dark tinted headlight covers for a FG series F6 310. If so where can i get some from.

Your best bet is to buy some healight covers and take them to a car tint place and have them tinted. But be warned they are illegal in most states.

I jsut took some headlight covers bought brand new from super cheap to the local body shop and sked them to paint them

Yep, its not legal, but looks cool

I've heard a rumour that there is a "tint", I believe a film one, available for headlights now that is ADR compliant. From what I hear, there's a few different colour options. Apparently it makes the lights somehow look dark & different when they're off but when you turn them on it hardly makes any difference at all - ie at night a cop wouldn't even tell its on there.

I'm not sure how true this is.

yea I remember seeing something about it in someones sig on another forum.
