Hi all...
When my engine is idling there are little bubbles blowing into the coolant bottle. When I increase the revs the bubbles increase. Now I know straight away that the first assumption is a blown head gasket. However the car runs perfect, no coolant loss and no water in the oil. Before i start ripping the head off I would like to know if there is anyother possibility for the bubbles. I did change the bottom radiator hose last week. Could that have anything to do with it? Thanks.

Thanks fellas,
Thats what I was hoping to hear. I will run the car without the radiator cap as you say, and see how I go. Will post back tomorrow. Cheers.

Yeah, get the car to normal running temp with the expansion tank lid off...if you are nearby it may even "burp" for you

Thanks for the advice fellas. The bubbles were from the hose I changed.
Quite surprised how long it took for the air to bleed out though. Best thing is - no head gasket! - Phew!
