mate, I know exactly how you feel - some d/h (we think in a 4wd due to how high the tyre marks were) hit my dads 5 week old xr8 ute late last year. 4 big scratches on the front corner, as well as a smashed headlight protector, and not even a note...

as you said - some people should so die...

lucky for me it was the boss' daughter. He's more ****ed than i am. Anyway, he's offered to pay for the respray. I just gave it the once over and there's no panel damage. Just needs to be sanded back and sprayed.

Default I can fix that

Photoshop should take care of it. Those photos will look good as new again.

Sorry.

Seriously, that sort of thing twists my guts.

Before you get the whole bar resprayed, look at those airbrush touch up blokes. We had someone scrape the rear bar on our LS Focus and I had it repaired for $44. Can't tell it was damaged.

I don't know any Vic places sorry, I'm in SA.
I asked the service department at my Ford dealer who touches up their used/traded cars before they go on the lot and they gave me his number. Very happy with the job he did.
Try asking your dealer who they use.

Sorry to hear mate. Someone thought it was funny to run a trolley into the back bumper of my car. Luckily i was about 50 metres from them, they left the trolly and headed back to their car and the look on their face when I yelled out 'Yeah, that's my car you ******** head.' Priceless, she crapped her pants!

As for those touch up guys, well i used the local Touch Up Guy here in Toowoomba on my old Diamond White Fiesta. He used Mitsubishi Diamond White (as on the old Magna) despite me telling him the code and saying it was Euro. He ignored my calls till I threatened him and then came back to re-spray. He did it all wrong, overspray everywhere and gave up and said I didn't have to pay him and he fixed the scratches on my rims (which came up great!) for no cost. I sold the Fiesta later and upgraded so didn't bother fixing. He was a **********. Be careful with them, and don't pay cash. You WANT A RECEIPT!

oh that's crap man. It's all good now. My boss is paying for the respray, so should be all nice and back to normal soon.

I feel for ya mate.
2 months after buying my focus someone in a 4x4 had reversed into it (could tell by tire mark shape in the boot and tow-ball hole in the bumper).

Amazing that people don't have a conscience(sp?) when damaging others property :(

I reckon the daughter should be "putting out" for the inconvenience.

I feel your pain. Back in 2005 I'd had my car for a month, I came out of the supermarket to find a dent in my boot lid. I was so upset I couldn't drive for 20 minutes.
