Hi everyone,
The rear left hand door on my au3 xr6 does not open from the inside and outside. initially, it did open from the inside so the child lock was played with thinking it may have been reverse and now it does not open from both inside and outside. What it the best way to go about it? What could be the problem. Any guidence and advice would be much appreciated. |

Door actuator has gone, and the child lock is on.
I don't know how much of the door lining you can undo with the door closed, but you might have to try and get a hand in to unlock it from the inside, within the door itself.

9 inch grinder, will do the trick, only kidding
Only way to do it is to try and pull the trim off from inisde the car, or if u can get ahold of another one ripp it out, and try to manualy unlock it

Thanks for the input, I'm going to keep trying to get parts of the door trim out but its looks like quite a difficult job. Is there anybody who does these kinda things professionally, I'm willing to pay....or if anyone has a door trim?
