Hi folks. My missus opened the boot of our galaxy blue AU1 XR8 with the Tickford biplane spoiler on it and the spoiler fell off! The joints where it connects to the boot are all cracked hence fixing it is not an option.
I contacted Ford and it would seem they no longer make these nor can they find any around the country. If anyone knows where i may get one (wrecker, remake, etc) your help would be much appreciated. I actually only need the bottom part as the top of our broken one is still in fine condition. Thanks in advance. |

That's strange that it fell off, never heard of that happening before, best bet would be to try a wrecker's.

Should never use the spoiler to raise or close the boot. End result = see first post.

A friend of mine has a complete AU1 XR bodykit and I believe bi plane spoiler that he is going to give me at christmas time as a spare for my 98 XR6 VCT which has the entire kit/spoiler package fitted, from factory.
I Feel your pain, absolutely love the package but don't wish what you have gone through to happen to someone else. I will find out if he does have the bi plane and if you want, you can have it.
