Im running dual fuel on my ute and just found the IAT sensor floating around under the airbox still plugged into its harness, as far as i can gather who ever installed the lpg system either couldnt be bothered fitting it to the air intake (has been modified to fit the mixer) or its not needed........could this affect the running of the car when running on petrol / gas if not connected.

The engine may run rich, and if it does, the O2 sensor will pick up that reading - default tune on most cars is to run rich, as it does less damage overall than running too lean.

IAT dictates spark moreso than fuel. Fuel is controlled primarily by the MAF sensor.
(coolant/air temps only slightly, like enrichment on cold startup) Higher (False) air intake temps will effectivley retard timing to prevent pinging. Daniel |

Blackery, you have asked a question about a BA, without specifying what motor, in the section for AUs in a post about Windsor V8's. Probably post a brand new thread in the BA section with some reference as to what motor you're running (NA I6/egas I6/turbo I6/Boss V8 etc)
