Default ED diff into EA - what's involved?

I have decided that the next performance upgrade for my car will be a 3.45 LSD. (AU engine notwithstanding)
Now, it seems that the easiest way to get one of this is out of an ED XR6 - or EB2 XR6.
I beleive there is a difference in the lower control arms in EB2 onwards diffs? Or is it EB? or EA2?
Whatever the case, I have a 30th anniversary EA, what will and what won't bolt straight up, and if an ED won't bolt straight up, what needs to be changed? Just the control arms?
Also, ABS vs non ABS diffs - can you just change the axles, or is it trickier than that?
Any info appreciated.

If you have an ABS diff you don't need to change the axles. All the abs axles have is a set of teeth pressed into the axle just behind the flange. the backing plate has a hole wor the sensor to pop through. Apart from that theres no point changing them.

The lower trailing arms use a wide bush. You need to get a set of trailing arms with narrow bushes for the body end and wide for the diff. Silencer has an eb xr6 diff in his car using the narrow bushes in the diff with some tube cut to make up some spacers. it works quite well.

Cheers Damo - I was tired
That sounds simple enough, now I just have to find one for a reasonable price.
