I'd try to cover the holes and use the slim line. Maybe you could make something that is the size of a normal plate stick that to the bumper then stick the slimline to that?

Put on the slimlines. Put it in the middle of the Numberplate cutout with two screws drilled through the middle of the plate. No one sees the screw holes cuz i did it with my old car. If you have a problem, fill them with some bog and go over them with some touch up paint, No one will notice such a small thing around something as superficial as a numberplate

Looks good.

What wheels are you getting? It'll look way better with rims instead of stockies.

That looks wicked FPV! Very noyce.

So annoying when mechanics etc. go ahead and do something that buggers things up for ya...even though they mean well (hmmm...questioning that)

It's always the little things that count too.

If the holes are a little too visible...maybe carefully file the ugly bits back a little and get some touch up paint...
better to have presentable holes than cruddy ones.

the falcon front ends are designed for the fat plates though, hence why i stayed away from the slimlines - i just think it looks a bit odd with the large gaps there, especially if there's holes - lol but i'm picky about that kind of crap, so don't listen to me! :P

looks great, shame about the holes they drilled though...
go see them and ask if they can patch the holes and spray just the numberplate area.... cant hurt to ask...

Dude I wouldn't get them wheels. Go some GTP's or something. Not many people have them and they look absolutely mint on EF's.
