Its bloody unbelivable 8 years in a row they have lost to holden around the mountain when are they gonna pull out there fingers,
lowndes shouldnt have pushed so had at the start, and bloody murphy wrecks ambroses car in the last 15 or so laps : oh well theres aways next year and they better do something about it. :lookedat:

Last year it was Holden 1st and Ford till 7th, so we didn't do too bad. This year was a different story. At the end of the day we are still leading the championship and look to win it.

Bathurst is the race of the season, and it does take a hell of a lot to win it, buts its only one race, where as the season is a whole year!

bathurst really is a lot of luck...
there is and always will be a lot of attrition [ no fault on power , drivers , or cars, ]caused by no one in particular , but sheer luck of tha race ..[no car or money can be perfect ,, except Peter] That is what makes it tha great race.. |

I wanted to see a punch on when Murphy and Ambrose got out of their cars and started arguing! I was obviously (like most other people on this forum) hoping that Ford would win. Maybe next year.

Lowndes said it on Saturday and it would have been nice if he (and others) followed the advice.
To win you have to finnish.

Murphy should be penalised severly for his stupidity. At least he is now in a well deserved 16th position in the championship. Ambrose was capable of catching the leaders, even despite the balaclava dramas. His car was certainly quick, much quicker than Murphy's. I also wished Ambrose would punch Murphy. As for Lowndes, disappointing, but it could have been much worse. He was lucky the wheel hit on the passenger side. Hopefully Ford's luck at the mountain can finally change next year.
