Thanks for the suggestion ,
I checked the switch, pulled it out and cleaned it and the lights worked last night with no problems.. After driving for a little while this morning, Of they went again... Could the switch be faulty ? ...are they replaceable and if so can they be bought in auto shops ?

Also check the cables coming to the switch as well... (green and a black one from memory) They go into a black clip setup, that then clips to the switch.

Mine were hanging down and rubbing on something and it had split... I went out, bought a new switch, and nothing, then realised what it was while doing to yoga act it is to get underneath it...

They suffer from the switches mate, I had to do mine in the wagon, I only had lights when I had the pedal pressed all the way down and the car was stopped.
