Hi All.
Lent my car to my old man on the weekend. Anyway I noticed this morning when reversing out of the garage, that the steering wheel is making a clicking noise when turning. I suspect it could be the clockspring (and I have had intermittant faults with my airbag light lately too). Does this sound right? and what is involved in replacing it... Cheers.

clockspring is fairly easy to replace - just need to take the airbag off iirc?
also check it's not just your cowling around your steering column...

Mine has recently started clicking aswell in my Ba xr8. If I move the wheel barely to one side it will click and then click again on the way back. If its a similar setup to the BAs they are pretty easy to get apart just pull the airbag and steering wheel off and thats about the bulk of it. I had mine off about 6months ago and it was fine when I put it back together and then started clicking only about 2months ago
