Default hooking up a sub to a fiesta

Hey guys,
Lookin at putting my old sub in my sisters 09 fiesta. Best way to do it?
I'm thinking hi-lo converter, not sure how you wire them in though? and then just takin the 12v from the cigarette lighter?

Thanks,Mark.

The 12 volt from the cigarette lighter won't really work, cause it stays on after ignition. Run a cable full length to the battery.

On my WQ I took the green wire from the head unit loom and spliced in a wire for the amp, then used a converter on the rear speakers to get the rca, sounds nice and whole now, I just need some front splits and I will be happy.

Cheers

AAaaahhh, I still wouldn't take the REM for the amp from the cigi lighter, as it stays on after the ignition is on. I did a bif research over on ukfiestanetwork.com . This site is an absolute BIBLE for Fiesta owners.

And a quick tip..

WP = MK6
WQ = MK6.5 (or facelift)
WS = MK7

just to add my 2 cents, recently completed an install in my 09 fez. I ran my rear speaker high levels into the high level input on my amp. Saves running wires from the dash (which is a PITA) and my sony amp has an auto detect function on the high level so I dont need a remote. Also has all of the adjusting functions of the Scosche hilo converter.

here's the thread of my entire install:

if you have any question feel free to ask.

I also have a speaker colour list if you need it.
