hey guys,
my EBII has done 290K's on the clock and before i start with too much engine work i was wondering if i should get a rebuild done. what are your guys thoughts on that? also iv been looking around at places to get it done and one that has grabbed my attention is the: "Street-Fighter" Performance Engine 152kw DEV-Complete Long Performance Engine, includes DEV Long Reconditioned Engine, Plus "Street-Fighter" Special Cam Kit, "Street-Fighter" Head, etc Fully installed with Spark plugs, oil, Filter, coolant, all adjustments and tuning. New item 1/7/2004 $4,950 what do you guys think of that? has anyone heard any reports on them? thanks Daniel

while i'm not sure on the engine in particular, it does make it easier since you've essentially getting an engine thats already worked, in good condition and is fitted.
no hidden costs etc. can't comment on the price as i've only ever looked at prices for a bare bottom end rebuild.

Also check out ITS Engines (?). They look like an awesome package. There is a stack of info on fordmods about them, I've never heard them mentioned here.

1TUFFEA, there is plenty of places in brisbane that do engine rebuilds like that, they just aren't that well known. EBII Falcon $5000.00 sounds reasonable for what you get out of that motor and the convenience of not having to try and fit it in your garage.
