Default Spoke to Wade Cams...Can someone voice an opinion on this

i told him my mods and he recommended the 1636

how is this different from the 1004-112's/114's?

There's a few people using that grind on here and quite a few on fordmods.

I've got this cam in my ed it manual with extractors high flow cat and cat back and pod filter and it goes better than without the cam but not heaps better but its only a mild cam and the 1004 is very lumpy and they told me it is a very old grind so they suggested the 1636 instead.

1636 was an update of the 1604 (which came out after the 1004 -112 and -114), when the 1604 came out they said it was the best cam for auto cars as it was good improvement without upsetting the idle and that.
