I am having trouble getting the valve stem seals off. I thought they should be fairly easy, but these are really tight. The manuals that I have just say to remove them, suggesting that there isn't much to it!
My question is - how do people usually remove these? |

Zarloc, the seals are NOT hard to remove. They are basically a tin hat with a seal in the top of them. A pair of pliers or a good screwdriver to lever off?
I am guessing that the head is OFF the vehicle? If not and it is still on the motor? That will necessitate you taking each valve spring off and do the replacment. You will need a single Valve compressor and an Air Line with an adaptor for the Plug hole? |

Thanks Papa Smurf.
The head is off the engine. I'm happy to hear that there isn't anything special - didn't seem to be, just wanted some confirmation. |
