Default Interior light

Hi all, I was cleaning the coon the other day & noticed the cover of the main interior light gets very hot, is there a way of turning it off when the doors are left open?

my car is quite often left open with the stereo going down at the local beach whilst me and friends have a few ales but the only way i know of to turn the light off whilst the doors are open is to just pull the bulb out

Bro, Im glad u didnt say that around where I live... U'd end up not havin to worry bout the interior light cos the whole car would be on fire hey. U gotta watch the use of that word in this town
