i am soon to lower the EL on King spring superlows, will i need a caster/camber kit.
are they important or can i do without it, and roughly how much do they cost. |

Yes you will need it. Last service went in to find the inners of my tyres worn to the brink. while i had an allignment etc done. The pro there said its a necessity... I dont have one as of yet, but will soon be getting one.

Superlows? For sure, you'll need a camber kit. I have the shim type camber kit (same as your current camber adjustment, but with longer threads to fit more shims) because it was cheaper, but i have since heard from a couple of people that the ratchet-type ones are un-reliable... I'm happy, the shims work fine...
If you dont have it and adjusted correctly, you'll wear the inside of your tyres extremely fast and they'll be useless even though you can see heaps of tread on the outside...

^^ What they said. Ratchet types aren't recommended because they can move. Shims can just be whacked in there and you can forget about them (pending the car stays at the same height).

mine were 180...dunno wat brand.......kmac make adjustable ones which are probly more expensive

BOSS4LTR, let me know how you go with your lowering setup. I'm in the market to get it done..Realising that I now need the camber, I'm thinking the price will be around 1-1200 to get it done.

i have 18's with superlows and yeah id definately recommend the camber kit...i paid about 200 bucks from bob janes

yer n e lower then low's u'l need camber unless u like going thru tyers:P
go the shims thats wut i got on mine and ther fine dont wurry about ajustable un les it's going race specs no point if u wana go the cheap rout go low's ant the front and SL's at the bk still looks low and no camber needed (fully sick commo specsLOL) |

i got my camber kit from repco.
try your local wheel and tire shop they should be able to supply and fit. i wouldnt fit it yourself becuase you need a wheel alignment with it.
