Default Ryco Syntec

http://www.rycofilters.com.au/products/syntec

Who's gunna have a go at these? Unlike the old Ryco Platinum (5k service), these new Syntec filters are rated to 15k service intervals. They also have a textured black surface, look great for those who care about aesthetics. Will probably also assist in fitting and removal. Will be trying one next service. No idea on pricing as these aren't for sale as yet, only seen in a box out the back.

I haven't gone near any of Ryco's products since I had multiple failures of their non-Australian oil filters (seam splitting). This new product won't change that.

Personally haven't had an issue with Ryco. When I do I'll look for something else. Same thing happened to me with Shell oil, had a bad experience and no longer will use it, no matter how the formulation changes.
